It can be used as a writing activity and a reading activity by getting the pupils to read a chosen word by saying it's colour. Pupils identify which picture they think is missing by writing the word. Challenge slides are included for each game to solve, which include cloze procedure, word jumbles and using the word that didn't disappear in a sentence.

This pack contains sentence and matching pictures using set 1-5 sounds from Phase 2. These can be used as a matching activity, writing sentences for the pictures or drawing a picture to match the sentence. Some are a bit silly but i’m sure the children will enjoy them.

Its based on the vowel diagraphs. I have used words that are suitable from aged 4 up to aged 8 and have tried to include words that contain wh and ph more on the 2rd and 3rd boards. These follow the order according to the Word Time! in the Speed Sounds book. The word lotto has additional words that are not included in the Word Time! lists to allowed challenge and extra practice . There is a board game for each set of sounds and 2 word lotto boards for Word Time! 2- 6. Word Time! 7 has 4 board and Word Time! 1 has just a single board. A great alternative to flashcards.

Created as I couldn’t find a mat that had everything I wanted on one mat. This pack Phase 2/3 mats with sounds and pictures as well as lower and upper case letters. It also includes three different font versions: Sassoon Infant, CCW Writing and Dyslexie. The Sassoon Infant and CCW have two versions; one with the HFWs and then the Tricky Words and another where they are in alphabetical order, in colour coded boxes with Tricky Words in bold. The Dyslexie version is slightly different and has a sound mat for Phase 2 and Phase 5 separate and a word mat for each phase including Phase 4 for the HFWs and Tricky Words which can be printed/photocopied on to the back of the sound mats. Includes Phase 2 and 3 sounds, capital letters where appropriate and high frequency words for Phases.
